Loungin' Trippin' & More
Good afternoon!
Many seniors have asked about the senior lounge and what happened to it, here are the facts:
1. There was a lounge last year.
2. Our school is bigger this year, meaning more students & teachers.
3. We have the same number of rooms and space as last year.
I think you can see what this means, there is not a room to dedicate as a senior lounge.
I have also heard questions about a senior trip, here are the facts:
1. I have not been asked by any other advisor to help plan or participate in a class trip.
2. Trips are expensive.
3. A lot of planning goes into taking a "school" trip.
4. There are other senior events we have to pay for first.
If we have a class trip we need at least 30 students to go, it has to be somewhere within driving distance, and it has to be planned in the next month or so. Mr. Rankin is in charge of the class trip so see him with your ideas and offers of help.
We will be selling concessions at the home games next week; Tuesday 12/16/08 and Friday 12/19/08. Contact me, Ms. Pritchard, if you are willing to help.
We will also be having a book store during lunch starting after Christmas break so contact me if you can help.

Hello!
Welcome Seniors and any interested parties!
I have heard the following comments several times:
"I didn't know there was a meeting."
"When was that decided?"
"Why don't we ...."
In an effort to be proactive and efficient and use modern technology (it is part of our school's name after all). I have created this blog so the most current class information is posted for all to see. Feel free to comment and add your ideas.
We need to raise funds for the prom, the senior brunch, graduation, and if possible a senior trip. I have listed the current and scheduled fundraising plans below.
Current Fundraising:
T-shirt sale--The seniors in Print Shop with Mr. Rankin are currently working with Mr. Dunwoody to finish making the pre-ordered IIT t-shirts & hoodies.
Basketball Concessions--We have been given permission to sell concessions at some of the home basketball games (boys & girls). See Ms. Pritchard if you can work the stand during the games.
Candy Bars & Magazines--We will be selling candy bars & magazine subscriptions in January.
Bookstore--We have permission to open a bookstore during our 6th period lunch but we need students to staff the store as well as some in put about what products to sell.
