Candy Sale
The candy bars are here and waiting for you to claim a box to sell. You need to be aware that there are 50 bars in each case so you are accepting a $50 debt when you take a box. I have an agreement/contract for students to sign as well as your parents. All debts need to be paid before you can participate in senior activities, which means if you do not pay for the candy you take you can not participate in prom, graduation, etc. There is also a magazine sale running with the candy sale, the class will earn 50% of any subscription rate so sell the magazine renewals too. All the information is on the candy bar wrappers, READ THE FINE PRINT!
We also have the book store during lunch and any help would be appreciated, we could serve cold drinks if there is a senior with a study hall willing to put the drinks in a cooler with ice in the morning and one to dump it out at the end of lunch. Remember this money is going toward your class activities and celebrations so the more you help out the more we earn.

Decisions to Make
Prom
We need to know what ideas you have for a prom theme, please be realistic and appropriate. The prom is a complex wide event so all four schools will be voting. I have prom catalogs in my room if you want to get some ideas. Please post a comment or stop and see me with an idea. We will be voting after midterm exams.
Trip
Once again I am hearing talk of a class trip. Plans must be made! You also have to follow the protocol, see Mr. Rankin with any ideas. A class trip will require a lot of planning, paper work, and money. If you want a trip get moving or we will go no where.
Concessions
We will be selling concessions at several February basketball games, Friday Feb. 6th, Sat. Feb. 7, and Wed. Feb 11. Please see me, Ms. Pritchard, if you can help out at the games.
Bookstore
The senior class will be operating a book store during 6th period lunch. Post a comment or see me with product recommendations (we will not have a refridgerator or microwave available) or to volunteer to work in the store with our manager.
Sales
We will be selling chocolate bars, The World's Finest, and magazines from Monday Feb. 9 through Wednesday Feb. 25. Be prepared to take a box and earn some much needed funds for senior activities.
